Titan ICT Consultants of Australia has signed an Agreement with US-based, WFN Strategies that would see both companies increase their service offering to the Oil and Gas sector in the Australasian region.

The collaboration would see unrivalled expertise in the area of Submarine Fibre communications consulting, available locally in Perth, servicing Australia and South East Asia.

Submarine Fibre Optic Systems enable businesses with offshore operations to remotely manage its facilities and enhance the services available. Reliable and high performance communications provide onshore operations with access to CCTV and process control systems, while also allowing connectivity for entertainment services such as Phone, Television and Internet.

Managing Director of Titan ICT Consultants, Mike Stegena said “there is an increasing need for Submarine Fibre as it provides for increased through-put where conventional microwave and satellite links are not capable. Industries, in particularly Oil and Gas, have an increased requirement for high speed data to enable remote operations. Our partnership with WFN Strategies significantly increases the expertise in Submarine Fibre technologies currently available in the Australasian market place.”

The partnership would see WFN Strategies accountable for the design of Submarine Fibre Optic Cable Systems while Titan ICT would design the Transmission Systems that ‘light up’ the fibre.

Wayne Nielsen, Managing Director of WFN Strategies said “WFN Strategies is very pleased to be establishing this relationship with Titan ICT Consultants, which will enhance our corporate presence and support of the Australian Oil and Gas industry. Together both companies provide a significant new telecoms capability to this very important customer base.”

“We’re thrilled to be associated with a respected organisation in the field of submarine telecommunications. The synergies between the two companies are incredibly aligned; we both stand for leading-edge innovation, project excellence, reliable high performance solutions and providing real value to clients. Between the two companies there is combined over 600 years’ experience in telecommunications and technology. We believe we have something unique to offer.” said Mr Stegena.
