Brazil and Angola are expected to reach agreement on a subsea cable project by mid-2011 according to Total Telecom. Brazil and Angola will study the joint construction of an underwater fiber-optics communications cable linking the two countries, Brazil's Communications Ministry said Tuesday.  The project, which will also involve Brazilian telecommunications company Oi and Angola's Angola Cable, was discussed Tuesday in Brasilia by Brazil's Communications Minister Paulo Bernardo and Angola's Telecommunications Vice-Minister Aristides Safeca.
