E-marine, a provider of submarine cable services in the Middle East has announced its cooperation with Alcatel-Lucent Submarine Networks (ASN) on the installation of a section of a major submarine cable system linking Asia to Europe. E-marine is installing a link from Pakistan to Oman and the UAE, a distance of around 2,000km, for ASN. E-marine has installed nearly 20,000km of submarine cables in the region and maintains 100,000km of submarine cables across the Middle East, Africa and Sub-continent section.
