Business Daily reports UUNET Kenya clients are now able to experience cheaper, faster internet connectivity since the firm moved to the new SEACOM fiber optic cable. While the price of UUNET's service has not decreased, the bandwith has been doubled in order to create a relatively lower cost for consumers.  The managing director of UUNET has stated possible future price drops once EASSy and TEAMS, two other regional subsea cables, are available for consumer use. The current move to double capacity is following a similar change made by AccessKenya, who doubled their bandwith two weeks ago.
