The submarine fibre optic cable of the WACS system of Angola Cables suffered two cuts, which caused a limit to traffic capacity, and increased latency and losses in the service packages, Angop reported. Angola Cables said action has been taken to identify alternative solutions, in particular by activating redundant circuits in other submarine cable systems with mooring points in London, Lisbon and Cape Town, and routing the internet traffic.
