WFN Strategies, LLC Announces its Partnership with the SubOptic Foundation’s Sustainable Subsea Networks Initiative

Washington, DC – WFN Strategies, LLC, a leading submarine cable planning, engineering, and implementation firm with significant sustainability expertise and experience announced the commencement of a partnership with the Sustainable Subsea Networks Initiative of the SubOptic Foundation.

As a research initiative of the SubOptic Foundation, the Sustainable Subsea Networks Initiative  is investigating the sustainability of the global subsea telecommunications network, a system that transports almost 100% of transoceanic internet traffic. Similarly, WFN Strategies is supporting emerging sustainable submarine cables, such as the Leif Erikson transatlantic system.

As a Partner to the SubOptic Foundation, WFN Strategies will be supporting Sustainable Subsea Networks Initiative using its ISO 14001:2015 accredited environmental management methodologies in hand with carbon footprint analysis, they are developing cable system sustainability modelling.
