PLDT plans first international cable landing station in Mindanao MANILA – The country’s largest telecom company plans to build an international cable landing station in Mindanao. Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT) president Napoleon L. Nazareno said the company is holding discussions with potential foreign partners for the new landing station that will link Mindanao to the U.S. “We are in discussion with the new one.
