Columbus Networks has introduced MPLS technology over its undersea fibre-optic network, to enable corporate customers in the Caribbean to improve the use and efficiency of their private wide area networks. Columbus Networks will offer the premium service to its affiliate companies Flow and Cable Bahamas, subsidiaries of Columbus Communications. Throughout this year, Columbus will extend its suite of MPLS network services to other countries and service providers in the Pan-American and Caribbean region.
