Global Marine Systems, a leading provider of subsea cable engineering and installation solutions, announces the appointment of Bill Donaldson as Chief Financial Officer.

Bill qualified as a chartered accountant with PwC and has established an excellent track record of driving improvements in operational performance for the companies he’s represented. In addition to directing Global Marine’s financial reporting, Bill will have responsibility for process improvement, business and commercial analytics and risk management at the company.

Bill will be a tremendous addition to Global Marine’s Board of Directors and senior management team.”

Prior to joining Global Marine, Bill was a Director and shareholder of Apollo Lifts Group Ltd, where his extensive knowledge of private equity, corporate finance and business systems was crucial to Apollo’s successful implementation of its corporate strategy. He was CFO at SIRVA Europe and the SAGA Group, and has previously held senior roles within blue chip global organizations including Allied Domecq plc, Inchcape plc and Prudential plc.
