Deutsche Telekom need not grant competitors access to dark fiber on its own Very High Speed Digital Subscriber Line (VDSL) network thanks to a ruling by Bundesverwaltungsgericht, Germany's highest administrative court. According to an article on Total Telecom, Deutsche Telekom still has to grant its competitors access to its street cabinets and empty pipes, as the German network regulator has ordered.
