BT has announced the opening of a new global development centre (GDC) in Bangalore, India.
The centre is designed to further enhance BT's ability to design and deliver world class service to its customers and support its expansion in high growth regions. Over the next 18 months the Bangalore GDC will hire up to 600 highly skilled software development engineers.
The new facility joins BT's global network of development centres in Ipswich (Adastral Park), Belfast, Cardiff and Glasgow in the UK and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. These centres are operated by BT TSO, the Technology, Service & Operations organisation supporting all of BT Group's lines of business.
