WFN Strategies (WFNS) is pleased to announce that Stephen Lentz has been promoted to Director of Engineering. In this new role, Steve will be responsible for the planning, specification, implementation, test and acceptance of submarine and terrestrial networks for WFN Strategies' client base. Steve will liase with clients and suppliers to develop cost effective solutions for communications systems onshore and offshore using both fiber optic and wireless technologies.
Mr. Lentz has over 20 years of experience in the construction and operation of communication networks, with a special focus on submarine cable networks. He graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, and earned his Master of Science in Business for Johns Hopkins University in 1998. He joined WFN Strategies in 2005 as Network Design Manager, and has supported telecom projects in Antarctica, Oklahoma, Gulf of Mexico and West Africa.
