The SEAMEWE-4 consortium has announced that their submarine cable system has suffered a fault near Italy on 14th April 2010 according to an article by the Daily Times. The fault requires to be repaired urgently. The Consortium has planned to carry out the repair operation of the faulty segment on priority and the cable repair ship has been mobilised for this purpose.
