BruDirect is reporting that the Asia-America Gateway (AAG) Submarine Cable Systems is currently down due to cable faults from the AT&T link, which is bound for US traffic.  According to an officer from TelBru, the international uplink is down since October 8 and is expected to be repaired by October 18.  Asia-America Gateway (AAG) is a direct 20,000-kilometre high bandwidth fibre optic submarine cable system linking 10 locations in eight countries – Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Brunei Darussalam, Hong Kong and the Philippines to the USA via Guam, Hawaii and California (San Luis Obispo).
