Millennium Telecom Ltd, a subsidiary of Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd., is planning to construct a submarine cable connecting India with Malaysia, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates.  According to an article on Total Telecom, Mahanagar Telephone Nigam said in its annual report that the cable will run form India's east coast to Southeast Asia, and from the west coast to the Middle East.  The project is likely to be completed by the 3rd quarter of 2011.
