Telefonica’s infrastructure subsidiary Telxius is set to invest EUR 352 million over the next three years (2016-2018) in three major submarine cable projects already under development, reports El Economista, citing documentation submitted to stock market regulator CNMV. The three projects are the 25,000 km SAM-1 cable linking the US and Latin America, the 11,000 kmBRUSA cable connecting Brazil, Puerto Rico and the US, and the 6,600 km Marea cablebetween Spain and the US.
