BEIJING – Pacnet today announced that CDP Group, a leading human resource (HR) one-stop solution provider in China, has selected Pacnet to provide business-grade Internet connectivity to support its HR outsourcing services.

“While China’s economy continues to grow, albeit at a slower pace, the dynamics of the current economy has created a growing demand for outsourcing services as companies are forced to increase business efficiency and yet reduce costs,” said Bill Barney, Chief Executive Officer of Pacnet. “We believe that more businesses in China will realize the benefits of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) especially in the areas of human resources and accounting.  Pacnet is pleased to provide the robust network infrastructure that is rapidly scalable to support these growing BPO operations.”

In a July 2009 report, research firm Gartner had forecast the BPO market in China to more than double from US$409 million in 2008 to US$1,073 million in 2013.[1]

CDP Group is a leading HR one-stop solution provider focusing on HR outsourcing (HRO), shared services (SS) and transformation services (TS). The company provides world-class outsourcing solutions, including payroll outsourcing, benefits outsourcing and on-demand HR services to multinational companies (MNCs), big local enterprises (BLEs) who benefit from the ability  to fulfill basic HR transactions, without having to waste time on the non-core business.

As part of the agreement, Pacnet will provide CDP Group with a flexible and scalable Internet service to support its growing BPO operations which demand both robust domestic and international Internet connectivity. This will enable CDP Group to focus on growing and strengthening its position in the BPO market, while leaving its connectivity needs to Pacnet.

“We are delighted to have selected Pacnet as our key Internet infrastructure provider. It is crucial for us to have a solid partner who delivers the high performance and reliable Internet access that backs our HR outsourcing solutions, enabling us to focus on business development and creating value for our customers,” said Mr Wayne Wang, CEO of CDP Group. “And as we grow our business, we look forward to growing our partnership with Pacnet.”

“CDP Group is a leading player in the rapidly growing HR outsourcing industry in China. As it expands its operations, Pacnet is confident of meeting its network infrastructure needs through our comprehensive suite of managed services, as well as dedicated network connectivity solutions including IP VPN and IPL solutions,” said Lily Zhang, Managing Director of Pacnet China.
