Huawei Technologies posted net profit for 2008 up 20 percent to USD 1.15 billion, according to a report from the Wall Street Journal citing the Chinese company's annual report. Revenue grew 43 percent to USD 18.33 billion, slightly higher than the unaudited revenue figure the company initially reported in January.
