According to allAfrica.com, the African cellular firm Zain Tanzania has connected to the SEACOM cable system. Â “This is a major milestone for Zain to bring the much-awaited bandwidth, speed and reliability to our customers, the business sector, and educational institutions,” said Khaled Muhtadi, Managing Director of Zain Tanzania. Â Their firm joins Tanzania Telecommunications Company Limited, Simbanet and Zanlink, who are all already connected to SEACOM.
