According to allAfrica.com, the African cellular firm Zain Tanzania has connected to the SEACOM cable system.  “This is a major milestone for Zain to bring the much-awaited bandwidth, speed and reliability to our customers, the business sector, and educational institutions,” said Khaled Muhtadi, Managing Director of Zain Tanzania.  Their firm joins Tanzania Telecommunications Company Limited, Simbanet and Zanlink, who are all already connected to SEACOM.
