E-marine, the principal provider of submarine cable solutions in the Middle East, is hosting the 47th Plenary Meeting of the International Cable Protection Committee (ICPC), in Dubai this week where leading industry figures will discuss and exchange technical, legal and environmental information about submarine power and telecommunications cables.
ICPC is the world's premier submarine cable industry association and holds the major forum in a region specifically chosen to facilitate wider participation of ICPCs members. The strategic location of the UAE is fitting, not only because of its excellent international connections, but also because many submarine cables pass through the region, making it the ideal place to promote and discuss developments and issues facing the cable industry.
