Submarine cable group SubPartners announced that the Australian Communications and Media Authority have granted the company the right to use the Southern Sydney Cable Protection Zone for the landing of APX-East. This system will connect Sydney, Australia to California, in the US with planned branches to a number of Pacific Islands.
