Global Marine Systems has announced that Great Eastern Group, an operational offshore company specialising in programme management, environmental compliance, geophysical surveys, marine construction, and ship management & operations, will distribute its state-of-the art Inspection Class ROV system “Predator” in Rhode Island.

Based in Florida, with offices and marine facilities in Rhode Island Great Eastern Group is the latest international distributor for Global Marine?s innovative Inspection Class ROV.

Great Eastern will be running a series of demonstrations of the Predator out of its Marine facilities in Barrington, Rhode Island.

“There is an emerging demand for these types of versatile, low cost ROV?s for a wide range of uses from underwater harbour security to structural inspections for things such as bridges, seawalls, and future installations such as offshore wind turbines.” said Morris.

Designed and built at its Portland facility in Dorset UK, the Predator uses the very latest high-reliability technology to ensure maximum operating efficiency for a number of marine operations including; the inspection of submarine cables, general seabed, harbour and inland waterway inspection, search and rescue and military applications.

Global Marine?s 300m rated Inspection Class ROV system Predator was developed to meet the ever demanding markets for rugged and reliable underwater viewing and survey systems.
