The West African Cable System (WACS) has informed its clients that the dates of planned maintenance on the cable system have changed. Repairs will now take place from 14 June and 20 June (originally scheduled for between 4 June and 8 June).
Communication received by MyBroadband stated that there will be maintenance on the submarine cable system to repair a shunt fault on segment 4 of the WACS cable.
