OTEGLOBE, the international wholesale carrier of the Greek incumbent OTE and MTN Cyprus, a member of MTN Group with corporate presence in 21 countries and over 103 million customers around the world, have announced their agreement for the provisioning of international VPN Services in the Cypriot corporate market.

The agreement concerns the provisioning of integrated interconnection solutions with major business hubs outside Cyprus to MTN’s Corporate Customers, by capitalizing on OTEGLOBE’s international extensive optical Networks across Europe.

The services will be routed through OTEGLOBE’s node in Cyprus, which is interconnected, over two different Mediterranean submarine cables, with OTEGLOBE’s fiber optic networks, TBN & GWEN, which connect Greece with the rest of Europe through the Balkans and Italy accordingly.

Due to the high redundancy, diversity and full protection of its international Network infrastructure, OTEGLOBE provides services of high reliability to MTN’s Customers, while it covers an extensive geographical footprint.

Furthermore, MTN’s Customers are now able to interconnect with significant business hubs in Europe, Russia, Middle East and North Africa, with tailor made solutions, fully meeting their needs and technical specifications, over both SDH and MPLS technology.
