Cross River Fiber, a New Jersey-based, boutique dark fiber optic and telecommunications solutions provider, announces the completion of the shortest commercially available fiber network route between 1400 Federal Boulevard in Carteret and 165 Halsey Street in Newark, New Jersey. This newly constructed network represents the most diverse and shortest linear fiber distance, which is 23.25 kilometers, between two key carrier hotels servicing the financial services markets.
Cross River Fiber is a niche CLEC provider that designs, constructs and manages carrier independent dark fiber routes throughout the State of New Jersey. The new fiber network between Carteret and Newark is the first completed route of Cross River Fiber‚s ultra low latency dark fiber network currently under construction in the Garden State.
“This new network footprint is the shortest and most diverse route between two important datacenter buildings servicing the financial services community,” comments Vincenzo Clemente, CEO of Cross River Fiber. “The completion of this first route illustrates the strength of our network design and construction capabilities. The fiber network we are constructing will provide the financial services, government, education and healthcare sectors throughout the State of New Jersey the highest quality network solutions available in the market.”
“The demand for high-quality, ultra low latency connectivity continues to grow,” adds Mike Sevret, EVP and Chief Strategy Officer of Cross River Fiber. “The high bandwidth needs of businesses will continue as the use of large bandwidth, cloud networking and regulatory requirements drive the demands for diverse, low latency solutions. Cross River Fiber‚s mission is to construct and deliver commercially available network services to meet the needs of businesses in the New Jersey market.”
This first completed route represents Cross River Fiber's founding principals, to serve the specific needs of companies requiring custom designed, diverse, and alternative high bandwidth fiber optic solutions. Additional routes under construction include new network paths to major datacenters in Edison, Piscataway, Somerset, Secaucus, Weehawken, Nutley, Clifton, and Rochelle Park New Jersey and to enterprise campuses throughout the State.
