By Bingham McCutchen Press Release
As the presidential and congressional campaigns sprint toward Election Day 2012, Bingham McCutchen is hosting a complimentary webinar to provide an insider look at the differing telecommunications, media and technology (TMT)-driven regulatory, antitrust and policy consequences of an Obama or Romney presidency. This webinar will also examine the potential makeup of the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives and their prospective impact on the telecommunications, media and technology sectors.
Bingham’s TMT practice leader Andy Lipman will present a detailed, comparative approach to analyzing the key policy positions of both presidential candidates with specific attention to the workings of the FCC, DOJ, Congress, spectrum issues, Industry M & A, network neutrality, taxes, cybersecurity and the overall regulatory climate.
Andy will also identify and discuss potential legislative and regulatory initiatives under an initial Romney or second-term Obama administration and their impact on wireless providers, incumbent and competitive telecommunications carriers, broadcasters, new media, equipment manufacturers, and financial sponsors.
A live question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.
