Middle East provider of submarine cable solutions E-marine has announced a deal with Huawei Marine Networks to bring high-speed internet to the Maldives, under the Nationwide Submarine Cable Ooredoo Maldives (NaSCOM) project led by Ooredoo Maldives. The project will connect the six Maldives islands with a total cable length of around 1,200km. E-Marine is partnering with Huawei Marine Networks to lay the cable.
