WFN Strategies recently announced that SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic has approved WFN as a sub-contractor for ARINC Engineering Services for the provision of telecommunication engineering services in support of SPAWAR contract N65236-07-D-6880.
WFN Strategies will conduct technology surveys, prepare and present feasibility reports, and provide QA and telecommunications engineering support as required. The place of performance for such activities will be ARINC Engineering Services and SPAWAR Systems Center in North Charleston, South Carolina, as well as WFN Strategies' offices in Sterling, Virginia.
“This is not only a great opportunity to extend our telecommunications experience with ARINC,” said WFN Strategies Managing Director, Wayne Nielsen, “but it enables WFN to provide enhanced support to the US Navy and SPAWAR, which is in our strategic vision of growing work in the government sector.”
In early 2009, ARINC and WFN completed a technology assessment of present and future broadband capability in the continent of Antarctica. The ARINC and WFN team, two diverse but complimentary command and control technology service companies, developed strong working relationships and together can analyze, solve, design, engineer, install, test, and support a variety of communications systems. The team is actively marketing opportunities and is working to meet the expected demand for their services.
