Cable Update
Mexus Submarine Cable Pulling Barge, the 230 foot 4 million pound capacity, Mexus Oceanic retriever, has completed its first week of cable salvage operations with salvaged cable on the deck of the barge. The retrieval equipment is operating as expected and operations are expected to continue until the winter months arrive.
Captain Brian Farcy states with the exception of a brief period of rough weather and an occasional break in the cable everything is working out fine. Mexus Gold Survey boat has moved to a new location, and is continuing the survey operations to identify cable locations.
