The program will enable TM to expand the availability of its Converged IP and Private Line services to Europe and the Americas. With TM's Converged IP services, business and enterprise customers can imply the carriage of different types of traffic including voice, data and images over a single IP network. Using the same platform, customers will be able to enjoy seamless connectivity for any application to any part of the world by having “one-stop solution”.
Meanwhile, TM's Private Line offers a dedicated, point-to-point cross border connectivity utilizing TM's extensive submarine cable capacity throughout the world including Asia Pacific Cable Network 2 (APCN2), South East Asia – Middle East – Western Europe Cable System 4 (SMW4), South East Asia – Middle East – Western Europe Cable System 3 (SMW3) as well as the Asia-America Gateway Cable System (AAG) which will be operational soon..
Global Crossing's Global Partner Program gives regional service providers the benefits of global reach, service expansion, reduced time-to-market and the ability to build a network or add service capabilities without significant investment. It enables providers to offer voice, video and data services to customers who may be out-of-region and gives providers a way to increase revenue by providing value-added services to customers in multiple markets.
“We're very pleased to have TM join our Global Partner Program,” said Omar Altaji, Global Crossing's Managing Director, Worldwide Carrier Services. “As TM's business clients take advantage of globalization and IP convergence market trends, they can benefit from TM's support model, strong regional presence and the global seamless network enabled by Global Crossing's IP infrastructure.”
