AllAfrica.com is reporting that the government of Kenya is accusing shareholders of the East Africa Marine System (TEAMs) of colluding to fix internet connectivity prices.  Bitange Ndemo, Kenya's Information and Communication PS, said TEAMs shareholders are selling connectivity at about $4000 per Megabyte, a price comparable to the cost of satellite.  TEAMs operators have defended these costs as a means of recouping their investment in the system.
