The U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) recently announced a Cable Landing License to GU Holding Inc.  The license grants the company the authority to land and operate the Unity Cable between the United States and Japan.  The cable system will have landing stations in Chikura, Japan and Hermosa Beach, California.
