According to AllAfrica.com, MTN Nigeria has joined with ten other countries as part of the West African Cable System (WACS). Â MTN, a major player in Nigeria, perhaps felt that it was time to join the booming submarine cable revolution in Nigeria. Â WACS links Europe, West Africa and South Africa with over 3.8 Tbps capacity.
