New WFN Strategies Projects Manager Takes the Helm

Hernandez will be responsible for the management of various submarine cable projects for Commercial, Governmental and Oil & Gas clients.
He joins the WFN Strategies team with more than 20 years of experience, including 12 years in Alaska, supporting Alaska Communications and later Quintillion Subsea Holdings, both of which are located in Anchorage. His experience includes subsea cable system implementations, program/project management, planning, engineering, product development and operations.
Hernandez’s experience and talents will be indispensable as WFN Strategies’ business continues its expansion into the arctic region and beyond.
He has had success utilizing Waterfall, Agile, PMI and Mixed project management methodologies to align company resources and achieve strategic goals. He will be managing WFN Strategies’ PM 2.0 Project Management system, which provides an exceptional, best-of-industry framework for accomplishing the development and execution of complex telecoms projects, while meeting or exceeding applicable Project Management Professional® (PMP®) requirements and standards.
Hernandez is trained and well versed in PMP® with practical experience and knowledge in ICT (Information & Communications Technology), including data networking/hosting, information technologies, fiber optic and wireless networks/services. Hernandez has extensive experience developing, managing and leading multi-functional teams; problem solving under pressure, quality assurance, risk management and effective communications across all business units, including executive management and clients.
