Repair work is scheduled to start on a broken undersea cable off Vietnam’s southern coast on Saturday, and is expected to completely finish four days later for Internet services to fully resume in the Southeast Asian country, a local telecom firm announced Tuesday.

The operator of the Asia-America Gateway (AAG) will start welding the cable cut at 3:00 am on July 26, and fulfill the task at around 11:00 am on July 28, FPT Telecom said in a statement.
