SubTel Forum Releases 57th Edition of the Submarine Cable Almanac

Sterling, Virginia – Submarine Telecoms Forum, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of the 57th edition of the Submarine Cable Almanac, the industry’s definitive reference for global submarine cable systems. Since its launch in 2011, the Almanac has been published quarterly, delivering accurate and timely data on more than 500 current and planned submarine cable systems worldwide.

The Submarine Cable Almanac is developed using a structured research framework that combines direct industry engagement with data from SubTel Forum’s proprietary Submarine Cable Database. The database tracks active and planned systems globally, including owners, landing points, capacity, route length, and technical specifications. System mapping and geospatial analysis are produced using ArcGIS Pro, consistent with the cartographic standards of the Submarine Cables of the World print map series.
