IWCS Extends 2023 Technical Paper Deadline Until April 21

Burke, Virginia, USA [April 6, 2023] – Industry professionals, academic researchers, and subject matter experts now have two additional weeks to submit their Technical Paper abstract for the 72nd annual IWCS Cable & Connectivity Industry Forum. Abstracts will be reviewed by the IWCS 2023 Technical Symposium Committee and authors of accepted papers will be invited to conduct a presentation or display a poster during the Technical Symposium of this year’s IWCS Forum, taking place September 17–20 in Orlando, Florida, USA.

IWCS honors select participants with prestigious awards and publishes research in trade journals—providing authors with valuable opportunities to gain international exposure for their work, establish leadership, and contribute to the mission-critical initiatives of the industry.

Examples of paper topics range from manufacturing processes of copper and optical fiber cables, innovative cable design, codes and standards, connectivity and assemblies, installation techniques, materials and extrusion processing, and more. A complete list of suggested topics is available at iwcs.org/present. Additional topics are also welcome.

IWCS accepts submissions from all industry professionals, with no limitation of job title or level of experience. Examples of past authors' roles include, but are not limited to: Engineering, Research & Development, Product Management, and Academia in a variety of market and industry segments relevant to cable products, materials, manufacturing, installation, and applications.

A referral program is available for those who wish to refer their colleagues to submit a paper. When your colleague submits their abstract, they will be asked to enter your name as the referral source. The person who refers the most authors of accepted Technical Papers will receive complimentary full-access registration to the 2023 Cable & Connectivity Industry Forum.
