LitUp Network, IGC Partner to Enhance Thailand's Connectivity

LitUp Network Singapore Pte Ltd (“LitUp Network”), a subsidiary of OMS Group Sdn Bhd, is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with International Gateway Company Limited (“International Gateway Company”), marking a significant step towards enhancing network connectivity infrastructure in Thailand and expanding LitUp Network's and International Gateway Company’s presence in the ASEAN region.
The MoU outlines a strategic collaboration between the two companies to work together on various projects in Thailand and in the ASEAN region, including cable landing stations and submarine cable systems. The strategic collaboration between LitUp Network and International Gateway Company will encompass the following initiatives:
- Network Connectivity Infrastructure: Develop and deliver advanced network connectivity infrastructure to support the growing demand for high-speed, reliable internet services.
- Submarine Cable Landing Solutions: Establish and manage submarine cable landing stations, points of presence, and associated infrastructure essential for the successful deployment of the submarine cable system and landing facilities.
- Future Collaboration: The partnership will extend to all future digital infrastructure projects, leveraging the expertise and resources of both parties.

LitUp Network and International Gateway Company are also working together on a new subsea cable system from Songkhla to Rayong and related terrestrial links, called the Satun-Hatyai-Songkhla-Rayong cable system. This will complement two other systems in future development, namely the Hatyai to Padang Besar and Hatyai to Bukit Kayu Hitam.
This strategic partnership will not only strengthen LitUp Network’s and International Gateway Company’s foothold in Thailand but also aligns with its broader mission to expand its presence across the ASEAN region. By combining the strengths of LitUp Network and International Gateway Company, this collaboration aims to deliver innovative connectivity solutions that will drive and accelerate digital transformation and foster economic growth in Thailand and beyond.
