STERLING, Virginia – SubOptic 2019 is officially in the works.
STF Events and members of the SubOptic Organizing Committee, consisting of representatives from SubOptic Association, Ciena and Xtera, held a kick-off meeting in New Orleans, Wednesday, at the New Orleans Marriott, the conference venue.
A triennial event, SubOptic is the longest running and most comprehensive conference series in the world for the submarine fiber industry. With 30 years of successful events, featuring presentations and discussions from the industry’s leading experts, it is truly an event “For the Industry, by the Industry.” SubOptic 2019 will be the tenth in the series and will be held in New Orleans on April 8-11, 2019.
The SubOptic 2019 kick-off meeting began the selection process for the Mardi Gras Gala event venue and development of an exciting Partner and Family Program, as well as agreed to pursue the development of a Continuing Education accreditation for Master Classes along with a forward looking and expansive conference program. It was the first of the organizer’s quarterly meetings scheduled leading up to event.
The STF Events/SubOptic Organizing Committee will be meeting again in September.
