In anticipation of the next stage of the groundbreaking Arctic projects WFN Strategies will be meeting and considering suppliers while exhibiting at the upcoming Pacific Telecommunications Council 2019 conference and exhibition, which will be held in Honolulu, Hawaii from 20 to 23 January.
Eastern Arctic Undersea Fibre Optic Network (EAUFON) is a planned submarine cable with landing points at 8 communities in Canada’s Nunavik region with an initial RFS of 2020. This will be the first system to bring high-speed connectivity to this diverse community living in the arctic circle, utilizing cutting-edge techniques and technology to install cable in the unforgiving climate.
Additionally, WFN Strategies will be exhibiting throughout the PTC conference, showcasing recent efforts in the engineering and implementing of submarine optical cable systems for various commercial clients in the Pacific and beyond.
