Alcatel-Lucent And Quintillion Subsea Holdings To Build Undersea Cable System Connecting Six Communities Along The North Slope Of Alaska

Alcatel-Lucent Submarine Networks will be delivering a submarine fiber system for the North Slope of Alaska on a turnkey basis. The system will consist of three fiber pairs capable of carrying 100 wavelengths, each of which can support 100 gigabits-per-second of data capacity, and will be 1,850 km long.
