TELEKOM Brunei Berhad (TelBru) would like to inform customers that they may experience minor disruptions to their Internet and voice services due to restoration works being carried out on its optical submarine cable system.

These services may also include international calls, international data service and international private leased circuit.

In a statement released yesterday, TelBru said its Southeast Asia – Middle East – Western Europe 3 (SEA-ME-WE3) cable system is experiencing a fault along the path to Singapore.

The telco’s technical team has been dispatched to manage and divert traffic while repair works are being carried out.
