Ogero Director General, Imad Kreidieh, announced in a tweet this evening that a malfunction has occurred on the IMEWE submarine cable between Alexandria and Marseille, causing its suspension.

He pointed out that traffic has been transferred to the CADMOS cable and coordination with outside parties is being conducted to address the issue, as work is underway to avoid network congestion.
